Lyons is looking for a motivated team member whose ready to join us in beautiful Kamloops, BC!
You’ll play a key role in shaping our store’s direction, making decisions that inspire your team, delight our customers, and help our business thrive.

What You’ll Be Doing:
No two days are the same! You’ll:
- Lead, coach, and inspire your team to be their best
- Strategically plan and order plant material, soils, fertilizers, tools, and more
- Share your horticultural knowledge with both customers and your team
- Create eye-catching, creative displays that bring our garden centre to life
- Make connections with local businesses and contractors
- Manage budgets, staffing, and store operations
- Dream up and implement exciting marketing ideas, workshops, and community events
What You Bring:
You’re not just passionate, you’re experienced and ready to grow!
Must-haves:
- A strong alignment with our core values
- 5+ years in customer service
- 3+ years in a management or leadership role
- 2+ years managing or supporting in a garden centre environment
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills
- A results-oriented mindset with solid financial understanding
- A knack for sales and training your team to shine
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays during peak season
- A love for the outdoors, plants, and people
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work in all weather
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook
Bonus points for:
- Experience operating a skid steer (or willingness to learn!)
- Knowledge of soil types, fertilizers, and pest management
