What You Bring:
- Strong experience managing fleet vehicles, equipment, and preventative maintenance programs
- Understanding of CVI compliance requirements and safety standards
- Experience managing maintenance and repair budgets, tracking costs, and identifying efficiencies
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and prevent downtime
- Experience coordinating vendors, warranty claims, and service providers
- Inventory management experience (tools, small equipment, consumables)
- Confidence with implementing and optimizing fleet management software
- Proactive communication skills and a strong sense of accountability
- Ability to support operations and scheduling teams as needed
What Would Your Day-to-Day Look Like?
- Oversee all company vehicles, trailers, and equipment to ensure they are compliant, safe, clean, and presentable
- Lead preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend asset life
- Manage maintenance and repairs budget, track costs, and identify savings opportunities
- Coordinate repairs, servicing, warranty claims, and vendor relationships
- Support rental coordination for vehicles and equipment as required
- Ensure pre-trip and post-trip inspections are completed, audited, and followed up on
- Lead the setup, implementation, and ongoing optimization of our fleet software
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date fleet data to improve accountability and efficiency
- Oversee purchasing and selling of equipment in alignment with operational needs and budget
- Manage tools, small equipment, and consumables inventory (oil, washer fluid, filters, etc.)
